US Army Pitch

ROLES : ART DIRECTION | DESIGN 3D | COMPOSITING
Signal Creative Director David Wave, was in charge of this pitch for the US Army. The goal was to integrate the logo mark in the environment. We created a CGI environment that would match the live action shots with the star formed by bullets.

CGI DESIGN
The live action footage was going to showcase wars in the most historical moments. We explored the idea of the star being formed by bullets from different time periods. We designed the environments in Cinema 4D and rendered them in Octane.

END TAG DESIGN
For the End Tag, we proposed a simplified version of the environment while keeping the sophisticated 3D Design of the star formed by bullets. We will have different versions for the different spots.

PROCESS | CONCEPT B
For this concept the idea was to place the star in juxtaposition with the footage as if it’s made of some sort of modern camouflage material that blends with the environment. We wanted to communicate the idea that the spirit of US Army it’s with it’s soldiers.

PROCESS | CONCEPT C
In this concept the idea was to do a 2D version of the star and transitioning the live action footage to a black and white grade in order to give a a sense of History. We would use this technique in the opening and end tag of each spot giving it a unique identity.
